We had a full day capturing Lindsey & Josh’s wedding. We started at the hair salon with Lindsey and her bridesmaids, then to her parents’ house where she got dressed.
They met before the ceremony, so we had arranged to have them meet in the garden behind the house. I love it when couples meet ahead of time. We can get all of the posed formal shots done before the ceremony while they are fresh, relaxed, and looking their best. It also means we can get them to the reception soon after the ceremony is over.
The ceremony was beautiful. The First Baptist Church in Sevierville is huge! We were able to photograph from many different angles and capture some wonderful images of their ceremony. One of my favorite images was when they lit their unity candle. Josh blew out the outside candles. I was able to get a photograph of his face lit up by the candle. We are always looking for special and unique shots during every ceremony, and I just knew this one was going to be a wonderful image.
They actually had two receptions. The first reception was held in the fellowship hall for the 300+ guests who attended the ceremony. They cut their cake (well…. one of the several cakes around the main table) and mingled with guests. Then it was off to a second smaller reception, which was a sit-down dinner for family and friends. Dinner, dancing, toasts, and exit were all a part of the second reception.
It was definitely a full day, filled with lots of love, emotion, and beautifulk imagery. Since there were so many activities throughout the day, I’ve included a few more images below. Check out the images after the jump.
