Thank You Card from Emmie & Zane

Thank You Card

We just received a “Thank You” card from Emmie and Zane. This card came for their one-year anniversary. Here is what was included in the card:

Chris,

Thank you for all your hard work to make our wedding day come alive again in our photos! It has been 1 year since our big day and we love our photos more & more every time we look @ them. I always brag about how amazing my photographer was/is. Thank you, than you, for helping make our wedding day beyond perfect. It really was a dream come true!

God Bless,
Zane & Emmie

This card just really touched me. Words like these make me feel like I truly am in the right profession. To us, it is much more than just being there to capture the “I Do’s”. It’s the reason Leigh and I leave weddings holding hands. There is so much love and emotion at weddings that we just get filled with that joy. Hopefully, it comes through in the images we capture.

It means the world to us that couples trust one of the most important days of their lives to us.  Leigh and I are so thankful to Emmie and Zane for having us be a part of their wedding day. I’m so glad they love their images even more, and that they thought of us during their anniversary!

Happy Anniversary you two! We hope you had a wonderful first year as husband and wife!

Meredith & Brian’s Wedding

Meredith and Brian at Sunset

Meredith & Brian - March 27, 2010

Meredith and Brian couldn’t have asked for a nicer day for their wedding. All week long, each day seemed to bring in different conditions, from the cold one day, warm, sunny or rainy the next. It rained the day before their wedding as well as the day after. Their wedding day was definitely a blessed day of sunshine and love.

We started with the two of the meeting before the ceremony. When we arrived, Brian was waiting at the windows by the altar. It was the perfect shot from the beginning. We let the two of them have their moment together before going outside for more photographs around the property.

The ceremony was simple, and beautiful, with an elegant reception afterward. At the end of the day, we captured a beautiful sunset silhouette (above), and some wonderful back-lit shots at the barn. You can see more images from their wedding below: Read More
